Essentials package and
it is worth the upgrade.

1 Touchcenter Home Console
This device is state of the art, with capabilities
that enables the safety of your home and easy access for
every member of your family. This feature is connected
to your touchpad and it allows you to view history of
when an alarm went off and what exactly happened. It
also has X10 capabilities to control lights and you can
leave up to two minute messages for other members of the
home!

1 Safewatch Pro 3000 Touchpad
This feature will only be beneficial over the
Safewatch EZ Touchpad if you are better with numbers
than with a key. It is nice because you can lose a key
or it could end up in the wrong hands and then they have
as easy access to your house as you do. If your family
or others that live in your household are fine with
remembering a passcode and panic code then you should be
fine with this system. It will allow for multiple codes
to be put in for different people.

1 Indoor Sounder
The indoor sounder is
a nice capability to warn you or anyone around the
premise of your residence. While it does good at
contacting the police and people around the house, it
will not necessarily notify neighbors, which can be a
good or bad thing depending on if it an actual emergency
or not. This is not built into the touchpad like the EZ
Package, which means more drilling.

1 Motion Detector
Infrared motion detector that, when activated,
allows for anyone walking along the grid to be detected.
Pets under a specific weight (usually 40 lbs) will not
be detected. The grid can be altered to assist with
indoor pets. It is more appropriate for this feature to
not be built into your touchpad. That concept is
unfortunate about the EZ Touchpad, because it will cover
the main traffic area of your home and it can be more
precisely placed to help protect a greater area of your
home based on what is more vulnerable.

2 Door/Window Sensors
These sensors are recommended for all doors and
windows at ground level. First, cover the doors and then
windows probably because anything that is stolen is
probably too big to be taken out the windows. If you do
cover the windows, then protect hidden windows by trees
or shrubs, or doors and windows that are dark or out of
view. Any doors or windows beyond this will cost extra
money.

1 Chime Feature
This is a nice feature to help with the door, but
little it does to help out with safety other than
awareness of who is entering into your residence.
