Home Security System options:
Items that come in the package:
-
1 Safewatch EZ Touchpad
This compacted touchpad doesn’t require you to know all
of the silly codes, but allows you to arm and disarm
your system with the turn of a key. The important thing
is you don’t lose your key or let it get into the wrong
hands. Because the system is operated with your
deadbolt, there are no codes to remember for your family
or other members of your residence and no passcodes to
forget about. This system reduces the chances of
accidentally sending a false alarm, which can cost you
money after several false alarms, and it will be easier
for protection against small children attempting to push
too many buttons. It still has the touchpad features of
police and fire buttons to push in case of emergencies.
-
1 Indoor Sounder (built in
Touchpad)
The indoor sounder is a nice capability to warn you or
anyone around the premise of your residence. While it
does good at contacting the police and people around the
house, it will not necessarily notify neighbors, which
can be a good or bad thing depending on if it an actual
emergency or not.
-
1 Motion Detector (built in
Touchpad)
Infrared motion detector that, when activated, allows
for anyone walking along the grid to be detected. Pets
under a specific weight (usually 40 lbs) will not be
detected. The grid can be altered to assist with indoor
pets. Depending on where your touchpad is located it
should cover the main traffic area of your home.
-
1 EZ Alarm-Activating Deadbolt
Strike Cup
This sensor is fixed in the deadbolt strike hole. It
reads the state of the deadbolt, whether it is "locked"
or "unlocked" and sends this information to the
safewatch EZ touchpad and control unit to help set the
system.
-
1 iFob reset key
This small portable device can silence or reset the
touchpad system if the alarm is triggered. One iFob
Reset key comes with every Safewatch EZ system.
Additional iFobs can be bought for $15 for each member
of the home or wherever you might want to keep one in
case if you want to trigger the alarm from another room.
They is a nice feature to have to activate when you are
away from the house in say the garage or lawn.
-
2 Door/Window Sensors
These sensors are recommended for all doors and windows
at ground level. First, cover the doors and then windows
probably because anything that is stolen is probably too
big to be taken out the windows. If you do cover the
windows, then protect hidden windows by trees or shrubs,
or doors and windows that are dark or out of view. Any
doors or windows beyond this will cost extra money.
