ADT provides quick and quality installation of
Home Security systems with thorough directions.
- What is the time table for getting a home
security system installed? An ADT trained
technician will come out to your home and
install the system in 7-10 days from when you
ordered the system and it will take
approximately 4-5 hours depending on how much
equipment there is. It is necessary that one of
the homeowners or heads of the household is
there during the process so the technician can
properly train you on how to operate the system
and ask necessary questions about the household.
- Is it wireless or hardwired? The
Keypads will always be hardwired into your house
and connected to your phone line (don’t worry it
shouldn’t interfere with your phone line) and
then either hardwired or wirelessly connected to
your additional features and devices. Both work
just as well, but wireless costs more ($150)
because it requires better technology to do so.
Also there is upgrade potential and less hassle
with some random guy running wires through your
walls.

Home Security System Contracts:
ADT offers quality binding
contracts that will probably never raise in rates.

Is there a contract?
Yes, but that is good because if they don’t
offer you a contract then they are probably a
questionable company. Most contracts last about
three years. ADT says that there rates will not
go up, but they are not guaranteeing it, at
least not to me. Don’t intend on backing out
because when you sign that contract you are
promising them about a dollar a day for three
years, but their protection is worth it. In case
of problems there is the quality service
program.

What is that Quality Service
Program? They will fix your security system
if there are problems with it without charging
you labor or parts. There are exceptions such as
acts of God, or your failure to properly set up
and use the device correctly. They list several
on their clauses, but it is a quality program to
have instead of them charging you over $100 for
labor and possibly just as much for parts.

What about a Home Owners
Discount? You can save up to 20% on your
homeowners insurance, but to get that you need
to not only cover burglary with the system, but
you also need to get smoke detectors connected
to the system, or it is only half of what it
could be

What if I am moving? ADT
will cover $100 for the installation of the
equipment in your new home. The equipment in
your old home will raise the value of the home.

What about theft protection?
So what if you are robbed and even if they catch
the criminals it might not matter because of the
damage they did to your home. Well ADT helps
cover insurance deductibles up to $500.

What if I am not satisfied?
If within the first six months you are not
satisfied then you will receive the right to
have the system taken out and be reimbursed with
your monthly monitoring fees and installation
costs.

ADT has developed a GPS device that allows them to send
assistance to you wherever you may be located at. No matter
if you need fire, police, medical, or mechanical assistance.
You can also go on the internet or call by phone to locate

may be. It also gives directions and travel information.
Home Health Security
There are several options for either medical pendants that
can assist with people confined to their homes or potential
for caregivers sponsored through ADT or on your own to help
alert the caregiver and family when there is a problem. It
also can account for unsafe housing conditions such as
temperature being too hot or cold, potential falls, etc. It
enables safety without having to cause hospitalization,
while still respecting privacy.

key, which is a valuable commodity,
especially with numerous people in

The main
difference between the Touchcenter

the Essentials package and it is
worth the upgrade. What is nice is

Fire Package-
There are many
people out there that are concerned
with the medical safety of their
family or protection of their home,
but feel fairly safe with burglary

require all of the security, but it
allows for the fire and heat
